The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health is undertaking a research project to look at parents? experiences of situations where non-accidental injury was suspected but later disproved or not proved.

This is a sensitive area for research, but important if doctors are to increase their understanding of parents experiences in these situations. It is hoped that this research will help to contribute to the training for doctors, particularly in terms of how they communicate their concerns to families.
