We do not have a big research fund, so at the moment we are unable to award research bursary grants. However we are committed to getting involved in research, most often through being members of research steering committees and through joint funding applications like the prosthetic research.

Promoting public involvement in NHS, public health and social care research - People in Research
People in Research aims to help members of the public make contact with organisations that want to actively involve people in clinical research. It has been developed by the UK Clinical Research Collaboration, INVOLVE and others. - BPSU
The British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) was jointly set up by Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Health Protection Agency and the Institute of Child Health, London in 1986 to undertake active surveillance of rare paediatric disorders. - The Medicines for Children Research Network
The Medicines for Children Research Network (MCRN) facilitates the conduct of randomised controlled trials and other well designed studies of medicines for children and adolescents, including those for prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
