As the country’s most established event for the independent living industry, Naidex 2017 will attract over 12,000 trade, consumer and health professional visitors over three days, in search of the very latest innovative technology, products, equipment and services that are shaping the future for people with physical disabilities or special educational needs.
For the very first time, the award winning PRYSM Media Group will be organising the event, injecting diverse content, world-class experts, top new features and leading business and trade into the show. Naidex is very excited to have the likes of Alan McDougall of Ottobock Healthcare PLC speaking at the 2017 instalment of the event. Ottobock dedicate themselves to making sure that everyone has the very best of personal independence and mobility and are experts in everything from prosthetics to orthopaedic neurorehabilitation. Alan will be giving a seminar entitled “Amputee Sport for Children – Ready, Set, Go!” where he will be discussing how growth in the Paralympic games has increased awareness of the importance of getting young athletes involved in different sports from an early age. The arena will feature the English Federation of Disability Sport, Disability Snowsport UK, and the Tennis Foundation, among others.
