Conditions

“We tell everyone about your wonderful charity when we discuss Charlotte’s condition and treatment. Frankly, we wouldn’t have got through it without the helpline advice and support”

One of the most basic things people need in stressful times is to be able to talk to someone about your problems. The Steps helpline offers confidential advice and support to parents, carers and adults.

Whether you’re looking for condition-specific information, practical guidance, emotional support or simply for someone to talk to about the challenges you’re facing, our helpline is here to help you.

We won’t tell you what to do – but we will help you to consider your options, try to clarify any issues you may have and suggest questions you may want to ask your doctors. And we will listen!  Similarly during or after treatment, we’re here to support you in getting the best possible outcome for your child.

You are not alone
